I realize that this is cheating, but I needed to have a backup plan in case I wasn't feeling well or uninspired, or if I was just plain too busy to shoot. So I had this old Polaroid and this post at the ready in case I needed it. Today, I needed it.
Now what does this photo have to do with Christmas? Well, back in the old days, we didn't have fake beards ready at our disposal, and therefore we had to make due with what we had on hand. My resourceful grandfather thought that a striped knee sock (probably belonging to my Aunt) would make a fine looking beard. So what you're looking at here is a visit with St. Nick, 70's style.
