25 Days of Christmas - Day 8
One of the churches near our home has the cutest nativity ever. I've never seen this done by other churches. At the beginning of Advent, Mary and Joseph are positioned on the side of the church. As the days go on, they inch their way closer and closer to their destination - the front of the church. Then on Christmas Eve, we're all rewarded for our patience with beautifully painted cut-outs of the entire Holy Family, their animal and shepherd friends, and the Three Kings. If things go to plan and the weather holds up, the photo for Day 24 will be the final display.
Here's a bonus photo of the shepherds hanging out on the corner.
